My aim here was to tell the very human stories behind some of the exciting developments in the Hungarian wine scene.

I feel that frequently in all our talk about terroir, grape varieties and the technical details of winemaking, this is a aspect of wine that is often forgotten.

Would have loved space to write about more – but these were the ones that appealed to the editor.
