A Grape Dispute

Here is my latest article on Istria, region located mainly in Croatia but also in Slovenia and Italy.  Its distinct regional identity has enabled producers to work together across national boundaries – co-operation that is quite unusual in the formerly collectivised countries of Central and Eastern Europe.  However the little matter of a grape called Teran in Croatia and a PGI called Teran in Slovenia is threatening all of that.
